Totally Should Have – Book Tag

Hi guy’s!
Today i’m going to do the “Totally Should Have Tag”, feel free to do it if you want too! 😀

TOTALLY SHOULD’VE GOTTEN A SEQUEL:

That is so difficult! I don’t think I can choose just one so i’m going to say The Hating Game & Simon Vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda because they are my favourite books of the year and i’d love to see how there relationships turn out.❤️❤️❤️

TOTALLY SHOULD’VE GOTTEN A SPIN-OFF SERIES:

The Lunar Chronicles 10000000%, i’d love Cress and Thorne to have there own little spin off series, so many people would read it *hint hint* ?

AN AUTHOR THAT TOTALLY SHOULD WRITE MORE BOOKS:

Karen M McManus, the author of One of Us Is Lying, I loved the book and would to see more of her work.

A CHARACTER THAT TOTALLY SHOULD’VE ENDED UP WITH SOMEONE ELSE:

to be honest i don’t think i have any issues for this one?
i think everyone i wanted to end up with ended up with said person 🙂

TOTALLY SHOULD’VE ENDED DIFFERENTLY:
The Fate of the Tearling, i really really hated the ending of this book, i was so disappointed with how it turned out 🙁

TOTALLY SHOULD’VE HAD A MOVIE FRANCHISE:
i’d love to see the raven boy’s turned into a movie, imagine how interesting and cool that would be, that and imagine the actors who would play the guys 😉

TOTALLY SHOULD’VE HAD A TV SHOW:
ooh urmmmm, that’s a tough one.
i’d probably say either Shatter Me, The Infernal Devices or Throne Of Glass

TOTALLY SHOULD’VE HAD ONLY ONE POINT OF VIEW:
Allegiant, it just got confusing….

TOTALLY SHOULD’VE HAD A COVER CHANGE:
Tower Of Dawn, nope. a blue cover? was not impressed.

TOTALLY SHOULD’VE KEPT THE ORIGINAL COVERS:
i can’t really think of one really, apart from maybe when a movie comes out and they change the book cover to the movie one? don’t really like that.

TOTALLY SHOULD’VE STOPPED AT BOOK ONE
sorry, gotta say shatter me.
i love warner don’t get me wrong but that’s pretty much all i like about the book, is it really worth four books?….

Me Before You

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes.
369 pages.
My Rating – 5*/5*
‘Louisa Clark is an ordinary young woman living an exceedingly ordinary life—steady boyfriend, close family—who has never been farther afield than their tiny village. She takes a badly needed job working for ex-Master of the Universe Will Traynor, who is wheelchair-bound after an accident. Will has always lived a huge life—big deals, extreme sports, worldwide travel—and now he’s pretty sure he cannot live the way he is.

Will is acerbic, moody, bossy—but Lou refuses to treat him with kid gloves, and soon his happiness means more to her than she expected. When she learns that Will has shocking plans of his own, she sets out to show him that life is still worth living.’

WOW.
So I’m not a broken mess right now?

LOL

Yes I AM.
This book was completely heartbreaking and heartwarming, powerful, friendly, loving and full of romance.

Lou was an amazing character who was so relatable, she was funny, charming, sarcastic and just so real – she is easily one of my favourite characters of all time.

Then there was Will, sarcastic charming Will – battling with himself on a daily basis, I can’t even begin to imagine what was going through his head, going from living a life full of adventure and love to a very, very different life.

Even thought I have watched the film before I read the book I didn’t find that I was constantly comparing things, if anything it was nice to see how different the two were.

The ending was… difficult.
Although I knew what was going to happen it didn’t make it any easier to read, if anything it made it worse. I was a snivelling mess at about 7:30 this morning!!

Overall this book was perfect and I highly recommend it to anyone? ? ?

Have you read this book / Seen the film?
What did you think of it?
What did you think of Will’s decision? 🙂
